Reading is one of the hardest things a child must learn to do. There are so many pieces that have to work together at the same time to be a good reader. The tripod holder and monitor will allow our online EL friends to interact and partcitate during guided reading lessons whike zooming. These items will give children access to a broader range of lessons that can be more interactive and hands on. The monitor will allow us to see each child read as the screen is shared. It is important to watch the reading behaviors and see what the child is thinking and how they are problem-solving unknown words, in order to be successful. It will be a wonderful tool to record running records and collect data on my EL learners. The tripod holderwill allow my friends to see anchors charts and molded lessons that are not blurry and hard to see with the chromebook camera. Thank you for helping us create life long readers in these uncertain time.
