Our 5th graders get one recess per day. This is a time for them to be active, loud and enjoy the outdoors. Due to the current day circumstances, students have to play in a small cohort and and practice social distancing. Our students need more equipment to limit the sharing and be able to engage in active recess activities. Jumping rope, playing basketball, soccer, or football are activities that our students love to do during recess time. Funding of this project would be great because our students would have access to many options at recess. Many smiles will be seen around our playground with this new equipment.
