Our 4th graders each have an at-school only Chromebook to use for their lessons in each of their subjects. These are provided by our school district. Some of them are touchscreen, but most have to be used with the touch pad on the keyboard. It would be so wonderful if the students could each have a plug-in mouse to help them maneuver their lessons especially since we presently assign the majority of their lessons online. This would make it so much easier for the students to do things like go from one site to the next and to be able to do simple functions of copying and pasting.
