I have a class of 7 students with a variety of disabilities. Each student is provided with an interactive work task binder which goes home with them during virtual learning days. These adaptive binders contain interactive, tactile and sensory academic tasks which assist parents in continuing to build their child's academic and functional skills. These binders are updated each time the academic unit changes. That is where the lamination sheets, card stock and HD velcro come as a need for my classroom. Sensory input is huge for my students and each and everyone of them require some sort of sensory input to help them take in their environment. My students seek out items that can satisfy their sensory needs throughout the school day. The sensory boards will be mounted to the wall and students will have access to them during the school day.
