I am asking for books for my students. During COVID, students are not allowed to share books. Therefore I would like to create an inventory where my students can all hold on to a book for a few weeks to read. The books will then be quarantined for a short time and then redistributed to students. Many 9th graders don’t like reading so I would like to create a fun space for them where they feel comfortable reading. A Book Talk Cafe is a corner of the room where they can sit, read, and discuss their readings with their peers in a comfortable setting. Students thrive when they feel comfortable! Please help me help my students feel comfortable when reading and lead them to enjoy it!
