These books will provide students with an anti bias perspective as well as narrative. Students will be able to identify and relate to these books creating a more empathetic and social competent community. They are the future generation and our change makers. These books have been carefully selected to include stories of people underrepresented in children's literature. These books will be used to diversify students' reading collection in the classroom. These books will be used during guided reading times (virtually & when we return to class) to help promote a love for literature as well as social justice.
