As our campus begins to prepare for our return to in person instruction, I believe the 3Doodlers can be a useful tool in my STEM class. I assign plenty of projects throughout the year where students must use the design process to solve a problem. For instance, one of the projects we tackled was how to limit the wasteful use of straws in our country. My students came up with some amazing ideas such as edible straws and lids with a lip to eliminate the use of a straw. I believe the 3Doodlers can ignite my students' imagination even more as they will allow them to create a prototype to go along with their project.
