The world is changing but the need and love of reading remain. It is the constant light in our increasingly virtual world. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, our students are not able to access our school library and their only "books" for reading are through a digital platform, with no options for high-interest trade books. Help me give the magic of literacy through classic literature, with real books students can hold, dog-ear, and love. Help me bring a semblance of normalcy for my brilliant students. Know that each page will be turned with awe and wonder. Intricate themes and messages will be shared in our class discussions, skills that will give them not only the ability to rise successfully into intermediate grades but through life.
