The core of my classroom revolves around providing my students with as many skills possible for them to live independent lives after high school. One skill we focus on frequently is our cooking skills. We often make a simple recipe every week for students to add to their own personal recipe book. Students also practice the managing of money as well as telling time. Hurricane Ida did not just effect or physical classroom, but also greatly effected our students homes. Many students within my classroom lost everything and now use attending school as something stable in their lives. Your support of my project will help bring back some of the essentials to my classroom to continue teaching. Thank you for your your support!!!
