My students are movers and shakers. They are used to having freedom of movement in my room as they learn. My rocking chair is the favored seating in my room to do their independent work, but due to Covid it isn’t allowed to be in my room. While I can still use the bouncy ball I’m worried about the kids using it to bouncing into each other’s spaces. These stools will help my students have movement while remaining in their assigned 6 foot space. It’s going to be hard going back and it not being “normal” for them- I’m hoping the excitement of these moving stills will help keep them content in their seats and limit the redirection to stay in their area as well as help them deal with the disappointment of the missing rocking chair, fluffy pink, and rug to lay around on. The kids will be so thrilled - guaranteed.
