I chose games I thought my second graders would enjoy. They are fun, but also educational. I am excited for my students to have hands-on games to play in the technological world that we are living in! I chose games that will help my students grow as learners. Boggle, Jr., for example, will help them learn their sight words and improve their spelling skills while having fun! Students can use Boggle to make words, manipulate the letters to solve a tricky word when they encounter one, make word puzzles for classmates to solve, or write a sentence using the Boggle letters. The possibilities are endless! These games will also help my students build social skills. After all, these games are designed to be played with other people, helping them develop teamwork and problem solve.
