Dance shoes are required in order to dance in dance class! With the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic, one of the major concerns of returning to a dance classroom was bare feet or stocking on the dance floor. Our school district now requires all dancers to wear a full coverage shoe, like a jazz dance shoe, to help keep the room COVID-free. Several of my low income students will not be able to afford to buy jazz dance shoes, any student who is not wearing jazz shoes will not be allowed to dance on the dance room floor. I would like all my students to be able to dance equally. These dance shoes will allow me to lend pairs of shoes to students who would otherwise not be able to afford dance shoes.
