It is my wish to provide my students with an environment where learning to read is fun and engaging! I plan to do this through small guided reading groups, literacy centers, and a classroom library full of books where my students choose what they want to read. This wish will make a difference to my students in so many ways! By allowing my students choices in what they want to read will empower them to read! The only way we get better at reading is through practice. We are in need of books and materials to nurture this type of environment.
