Having limited tools and resources at home has been an additional challenge to an already difficult transition, but I am committed to providing effective instruction that parallels that of my traditional classroom. Remote Learning is a new experience for everyone involved. Having these resources will allow me to provide students with more engaging lessons and instruction and fewer episodes of glitching and freezing, which has had an adverse effect on their learning. My goal is to facilitate the transition from in-person to virtual learning by providing students with the familiarity of instruction that they are used to. Through the use of the document camera and Mesh Wifi System I will be able to provide explanations and model new skills, strategies, and content for my students. Having the ability to provide real time instruction for them, as they follow along remotely, will allow me to guide them through lessons and provide the necessary visuals that my diverse learners and ELs need to develop and master new content. My students need explicit instruction loaded with visuals and examples to understand and make meaning of our learning objectives. The use of similar technology in my classroom has enriched their learning and has proven to be an affective tool for teaching. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will provide my students with engaging, pre-created digital resources that will enhance their learning and reinforce learned skills.
