I'm putting together a pack that gives students hands on materials for science projects and learning math. With PTA's support, I already got some materials, but some items such as putty to put straws together are missing. In terms of the biggest impact, it will be impactful for students because this will give them the materials they can actually look at to help them learn and build ideas. Some projects we have for science include straw rockets, cardboard rovers, paper towers, and so forth. As for math, visual learners will be able to better understand fractions and their relationship with decimals with the manipulatives. Also, many kids are concerned. Having sanitizer available on site when they pick up the items would put them at ease. While I have everything in bags and got personal bins, I know that many students will be grateful to have the choice to sanitize their materials before taking their learning tools home. Thank you so much!
