These items will make a difference in my classroom because, as a young first year teacher, it's a bit tough to try and gather up these things yourself without borrowing from the colleagues around you. Some of my students don't have their own supplies, and I am more than happy to help provide for them, but this will help me with that goal bit more! My students come from various economic backgrounds, and I can see the worry in some of my kids faces when I ask them to bring out certain school supplies for an activity we will be working on for the day, but I really just want to take away that problem for not only my students, but their parents and guardians as well. This project will definitely help bring some smiles to my students faces!
