According to the state test scores in 2018, Espanola Public Schools students' proficiency in Math is only 10% and 19% in Reading. As a teacher, I should do something to help my students elevate their proficiency level in Math and Reading. Calculators would be a great help for them to learn the lessons efficiently. It will allow students to solve problems and appreciate the value and power of Mathematics. If my project will be funded, the calculators will be sent to my students' respective homes so they can use it in our daily activities.
