Our current situation has our students learning virtually, which of course is not ideal, but we are also struggling with presenting lessons to them due to our old technology. Though I was provided with a Chromebook to use for virtual learning, it is several years old (they are actually the ones returned by students after they graduated), it is very SSSSLLLOWWW (which limits our ability to share our screen with the students so they can visually follow along with the lesson), they have WiFi connection issues, and the camera is not clear. My computer is the main source of the students receiving their education; the instruction and learning can only go so far with limited resources. This project would allow my students to get their education in a clearer manner. They would be able to not only visually see the entire lesson the way it was planned (opposed to just hearing me talk), but it would allow them to socially and emotional connect with myself and their classmates by having a stable virtual classroom.
