All students deserve to be taught with materials that are visually interesting and engaging. My special needs preschool class is currently made up of other people's leftovers. As much as I try to "liven" my current materials up, they are tired and ragged. The materials that I have chosen will provide my students with brand new math and literacy center supplies that will entice them to become more engaged and increase their expressive vocabulary. This will ultimately benefit students because it will result in them learning and growing. From the magnetic letter and counting centers that will increase their vocabularies to the play-doh mats that will increase their fine motor skills, students will have the satisfaction of being able to utilize materials that no one else has used.
