These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy-I do everything I can to keep an updated, engaging library! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. All of these books have not only been chosen with my students in mind, but with the many students that have yet to walk through my door. I serve a very diverse population of students and I want my native Spanish speaking students to have books that will allow them to read independently and for pleasure. Books in their native language will give them that opportunity. Nonfiction chapter books are difficult for many students to enjoy. May of the Who Is, What Is series expose students to this genre in a fun and engaging way. I am super excited about the Choose Your Own Adventure series. These books give students choice about where they want the story to take them. If they don't like how the story is turning out, they can always change it!
