Kids, especially teenagers have had a challenging time being isolated with Covid. They have forgotten how to interact and how to connect with others. Because around 500 students come in and out of the library, voluntarily, before school, after school and during 3 lunches, I want to provide materials that make it easier to connect with other students. By having a pile of 3000 Kapla blocks on the floor in the middle of the library, students will have no problem getting down on the floor to build their creations. They will inevitably begin to associate with others who are building blocks and make a connection. This will impact self-esteem and mental health.

About my class
