The problem that I am addressing is that kids are losing out on learning social skills, such as sharing and teamwork, while on the playground. Because of COVID, kids can't bring balls and playground equipment from home anymore, leaving many of the kids bored at recess. Teachers can't even share equipment with one another. The kids used to ask the PE department for balls but they can't lend them out anymore. Most teachers don't have the extra resources for playground equipment to keep these kids interactive and happy. Unfortunately, many kids are sitting, rather than playing. Other students anxiously await their turn to play basketball, 4 Square, etc.
