This year we have been working in as much outdoor learning as possible. In first grade we learn a lot about plants so we are creating an outdoor learning space with a garden that the kids can plant and care for. This project will give our students a place to learn and explore outdoors and more opportunities for hands on learning by creating and caring for their own garden! There are still some materials that we need to create this awesome outdoor learning area / garden. We need a shade canopy and posts to support it because the area we are using gets direct sunlight. We need the hardware cloth for drainage in the raised garden beds. We also need a watering can for each class to care for the gardens.

About my class
