Students in my community have a limited ability to travel and experience the world. VR gives students the opportunity to experience a wide variety of locations and cultures. My class will use VR to take virtual field trips around the world. This will allow them to experience the Ancient Cultures that we learn about through first-hand experiences. Students will be able to take field trips to smaller local destinations as well as take far-flung voyages to exotic locals. My students have been highly motivated by low tech VR experiences through the computer, the VR kit I am asking for will allow them to become fully immersed in our world.
