I have chosen this text because I feel it is one that they will come back to repeatedly throughout their lives. It is a study of how people live in spite of and sometimes because of our inevitable end. The impact of this concrete text would be immeasurable, creating hope and relief. These students are enrolled in the IB program (International Baccalaureate). This diverse group of students attend an underfunded city high school and hold so much worth and potential. Please assist me in showing them that they and their lives and minds are valued and worthwhile.
