The items requested will allow my students to get out of the monotonous cycle of worksheets. The composition notebooks will allow for an Interactive Reading Notebook for each student. The students will be able to cut, glue, color, and write to go along with each standard we are studying. The carpet dots will allow for visualizations for proper social distancing so that students can leave their desks to sit in various places in the room to complete their work if they wish. Photo cases will be used to store individual task cards for each child to use without the risk of cross-contamination by other students. These items, along with the other items, will provide more opportunities for my students to be more creative, learn through whole group, small group, and individual differentiated teaching, and overall provide more happiness to my students during these strange times of COVID-19.
