As students just get into the swing of coming back to school, it is evident that they are fully aware of the risks involved. Nerves are at an all time high and the expectations we have are very out of the ordinary for them. With safety precautions already in place I feel as though it is my job to create the safest learning environment possible. My project includes the desk shields used for helping the spread of germs beyond a student's area. With sanitation happening several times throughout our day definitely keeps us safe. However, adding an extra defense, students can feel safer. In addition, providing my little with a mask lanyard will also help greatly. They are young and have trouble keeping track of their mask. With the help of the lanyards students will never forget where they left their mask or drop it on the floor making it useless.
