The Microsoft Surface Pro Touchscreen laptop will make teaching my special education scholars in a hybrid model more effective and efficient. During live instruction, I will be able to quickly share my screen and give my scholars the ability to watch me write or draw examples on a virtual whiteboard. I will be able to provide more thorough feedback to my scholars since I will be able to write/draw directly on their assignments. I currently am using a Chromebook that works well when I am not live streaming to my class. When sharing my screen, scholars often tell me that I am lagging and when I am writing on my SharpTV, it begins to glitch. Overall having a touchscreen laptop will make teaching in a hybrid model more effective and beneficial for my developing mathematicians. I truly feel this is what I need to teach new concepts and move my scholars along on their mathematical journey.
