My school does not have a color printer, so everything has to be in black and white. Although this format works for most things, a color printer will give me so many more options to keep students attentive and engaged. I could print and laminate maps that students can mark up. I could have math laminates that I can use expo markers on for interventions. I teach ecosystems and a color option would go a long way with printing and laminating animal cards for various activities. I feel that having color prints and a way to preserve them would make learning more fun in the classroom.
