Gizmos allows students to practice analyzing graphs and interpreting data. This is such an important part of learning to think scientifically. Thanks to Gizmos, students have access to this skill and much more. Last week, students used Gizmos to investigate the cause of a Great Dane's sickness. Students had to hypothesize about the cause of Claire's sickness and then run three experiments in order to determine that actual cause of the disease. While doing this, students utilized skills of analyzing graphs and enzyme knowledge. Overall, it was a great success, and students said that they enjoyed the simulation because it was interactive and meaningful. Please help me to continue using Gizmos in my science classes this year with some Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards.
