As technology becomes more and more prevalent in their classrooms, my students need accommodations to help them achieve their goals and participate with their peers. My students with Learning Disabilities need headsets with microphones to help them read and write. With the help of a headset, they can use speech to text tools to help them clearly express their ideas through writing. They can also have texts from their computers read aloud to them, which allows them to access materials they would otherwise be unable to read. With a headset, my students will be much more efficient and confident when doing their work!
