Once we've explored Newton's Laws and examined how rockets work... We will apply practical knowledge to construct and launch a real rocket! Students will learn about a rocket's flight path, how the engine works, and what external forces act on their rocket. Each student will have their own materials to build and launch (at least once) their own rocket. They will have time to decorate their rocket and make it personal. We will chart and track various types of data to bring back to the classroom and analyze. We can use this data to see trends throughout the classrooms, and across other classes.
