The items on my list are to ensure that each student is learning the way that he or she can learn best. The use of the dry erase supplies is a daily activity in my classroom. It provides a way for students to follow along during our guided practice time. Students will be able to manipulate each equation and I, as the teacher, will be able to monitor their work. The manipulatives will be a tool used to better explain certain skills to ALL students. Students who are above level, at level, below level, and students in the Exceptional Ed program can benefit. The use of math manipulatives will provide students with a way to physically feel the math in their hands. Learning by doing is a very powerful way to master a skill. By donating to our project, you will not only help these students educationally, you will help these students become the most confident versions of themselves.
