All students can benefit from visual picture cards to make connections between what is being said and what is expected of them. The children I work with rely on pictures to make sense of the world around them and to help them communicate with others. They use them in a variety of settings throughout the day and then can take them home in the evening to help communicate about their day with Mom and Dad. Oftentimes, an seemingly quiet child will have a tremendous amount of things to say if only given the chance - and the proper tools. Help me provide those tools and to organize and laminate our picture cards and store them in bins so they don't take over my Speech Room!
