My students and I are excited to bring back literacy centers and guided reading after a year of missing out due to social distancing requirements! Students need meaningful, independent activities to support their growth as readers during our literacy block. While I am working with guided reading groups, the rest of my students will be hard at work exploring new and familiar words and work patterns, reading with buddies, and practicing crucial reading skills. This project will allow me to set up a variety of differentiated literacy centers for my students to learn with during our literacy block.
