Who doesn't love Legos? As a counselor I have been researching new ways to conduct social and emotional lessons to my students and have found amazing ways to utilize the use of Legos in a small group setting. As a counselor I often have to work with students in small groups for a number of reasons: i.e. making friends, grief, learning to self-regulate emotions, etc. Legos would provide me a resource to use within the small groups such as cooperatively building, building a happy place, and enjoy a new perspective on teaching.
