I teach a completely remote classroom for first graders that all have iPads provided by the district. I teach from a desktop in my classroom. The parents and the children need a way to be taught how do use Google classroom and Google slides from the iPad. The way it looks on my desktop is very different than the way it looks on their iPad and without one to use as an example I am unable to help them at home. The children never come to the classroom and I need to be able to have a demonstration iPad for all of their classwork as I’m teaching them through my desktop monitor. The district has none left for the teachers after distributing them to the students. After four weeks of teaching I still have students and their families who are unable to understand how to access to learning on their iPads and these children are missing out on valuable learning.
