Have you ever seen a kid who has struggled with something and worked hard to overcome that struggle? I have seen students struggle each and every day; and even though they struggle, they continue to work hard. They struggle outside in the real world and in the classroom, yet they show up, ready to learn, put in the effort each day. I am so proud of my students and their hard work, I can't help but want to reward them for all their effort! I am a reading interventionist, and all my students struggle with reading. It is always a tolling task to get them to read in class, as well as, to complete reading homework each night. I need an assortment of prizes to reward them at the end of the week for their hard work. I envision using the prizes as incentive and motivation for their reading. If my project gets funded, I will allow my students to pick a prize from the prize box once they have come to class each day with their reading homework complete. At the end of the week, they have an opportunity to earn two prizes. One prize for being responsible, bring their books and materials to class every day, and one for completing their nightly reading homework. Right now my prizes box looks dismal. It has leftover toys that no one wants. I need some new additions to my prize box such as fidget finger toys, silly putty, lego type toys that students can build, puzzles, and other sensory toys. With your help, I can add these new prizes and toys to the prize box. When they see the new prizes, they will want to read more to earn a prize,
