This year is unlike any other. To kindergarteners, they just want the opportunity to learn each and every day. My students are in school for the morning, then go home to finish their learning at home via live meets with teachers and activities at home. In order to extend the types of learning that we are doing at school, our young learners will need the same materials at home. These include essentials like whiteboards, Play-Doh, counters, and tens frames. Some of these materials are not things that parents have readily available for their children at home. By supporting my project, my students will have a more connected learning experience in their virtual afternoons, and also in case, we have to switch to full virtual learning at some point during the year.
