These materials will be used by students who are returning to socially distant classrooms after months of distance learning. My hope is to create warm, nurturing and creative spaces for my students while keeping them safe and healthy (physically and mentally). Now, with new guidelines from the health department, we must keep our students separated and seated at a desk for most of the day. Our hope is to foster student interactions through conversations from behind their desk shields. With the voice amplifier they will be able to hear me. I do not want to have to yell, and a first-grade class can get busy. These supplies will ensure that students are staying safe and still having the ability to engage in their learning.
