This Apple IPad will give my students the opportunity to learn at home and other settings. My special needs students lack the communication skills needed to make their wants and needs known. If this project is funded, applications will be used to help assist the student with learning how to communicate using pictures. In my person opinion, the frustration that many special needs student's exhibit is due to the fact that they lack communication/language skills. The student's will be able to take the tablet to and from school to use in other settings enhancing life and social skills.
