These books will allow my students receiving additional small group reading instruction to have access to diverse, physical books. Due to Covid-19, these students are learning remotely, but that doesn't mean the instruction and interventions they are provided should not include physical books. Each of my twelve fifth grade remote learning students will receive a copy of these books, which we will then use during our small group reading instruction. We meet online three times a week and will be using research based strategies and interventions to improve reading skills.
