These alternative seating options will allow my students when in class, to relax and sit comfortably instead of sitting in the hard plastic chairs that have been provided by the school district. These two chairs will be the beginning of a collection of alternative seating options I want to create for my students. When students are comfortable, they are more open to learning instead of worry about their backside hurting. I have sat in the chairs the students have to use for class and after just 20 minutes my hinney hurt so much it was distracting to me, an adult, imagine how that would be for a teenager.
