Help my students learn about diversity, inclusion, and equality! These mentor texts will provide my students with information about other cultures and lifestyles. Students have a very limited view of the world-whatever they've seen, heard, or experienced...these books will provide them with the opportunity to learn about people that may or may not be different from them. We've currently been reading about Sudanese immigrants in the 1980s and immigrants in the early 1900s. They are understanding the process and transition of coming to the United States of America for a new life.
