These art supplies will allow my students to create projects that will enhance their overall experience of the books we read. Creating art boosts self-esteem and provides a sense of accomplishment in adults and children. Having these items in my classroom will allow me to create art with my middle school students who have spent much of the last two years sitting in front of a computer screen. Creating art produces dopamine, which makes people feel good, increases drive, and improves concentration. Art will help them outside of my room, too.
