I am a reading intervention teacher, who works with students K-3 on reading and writing skills. My students are the student who struggle to read as well as communicate through their writing. This year I am focusing on developing my students writing skills! It has been proven that being a good reader doesn't mean you are a good writer but if you are a good writer you are almost always a good reader. So to develop better readers I am focusing on improving their writing.
