The selected books will be added to the classroom library and available for use with students face to face and virtual learning. These books will foster listening and questioning skills. In addition, the classroom teacher will provide opportunities through the literature, for effective engagement in the reading and writing process. These read-aloud books will not only stimulate the reading and writing process, but also student's imagination, as well as help them develop language and listening skills necessary for successful reading fluency. Building on and extending student's vocabulary can be accomplished through the selected literature.
