We call our classroom, "The Nest" because everyone who enters is transformed into an Outstanding Wise Learner, or O.W.L. for short! We are seeking some help for out nest. Due to COVID- 19 restrictions, we are limited with our number of checkouts of books. I have a highly motivated group of O.W.L.s this year who are striving to meet their Accelerated Reader goal every nine weeks, but it is becoming difficult without access to new books. Your donation would directly benefit the students both at home and at school to meet these goals! We are eagerly awaiting to be funded so that we can start expanding our library and again achieve meeting our goals. We also would greatly benefit from an expanded library based on award winning books, various reading levels to address my students' needs, as well as a culturally diverse and inclusive book set that we have requested. These books would be loved and given extra T.L.C. by each O.W.L. in our classroom for years to come, as well as the option to check the books out from our classroom library to enjoy and share at home. Thank you getting to know our classroom! Hoot, Hoot, Hooray for new books!
