Helping students visualize bacteria is not easy for students learning from home. Students do not have microscopes at home and are unable to fully participate in these kinds of experiments. Due to social distancing, only a couple of students are allowed to use the microscope at a time with sanitizing occurs between uses. This takes a lot of time and patience. Having a digital microscope will allow better images to be obtained and sent to all students. Some students squint to see from the back of the room when trying to project images. Having a larger screen will enable all students to see from all distances of the room.
