Our Title I school in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City struggles with attendance. I want to create an atmosphere where my students are eager to attend school. This needs to be welcoming and warm. My students struggle immensely with social and emotional needs and I want to provide student choice with the requested flexible seating and a cozy environment for a reading corner with the posters and essential oils. I also want to teach the students about growing their own plants and watch butterflies emerge! This provides students excitement about Science and Math!

About my class
